- Read Right Monograph
Is Read Right methodology grounded in the skills-based view of reading development or whole language? Neither. Read Right methodology reflects a new view of reading development grounded in Piaget's widely accepted learning theory (interactive constructivism) and accepted brain science. The view is articulated in detail in a new monograph by Read Right developer Dolores "Dee" Tadlock, Ph.D. Backed by more than 130 references to journal articles and research.

- Research Study: Helping At-Risk 10th Grade Readers
In a research study, 27 students in a Western Washington High School who had failed the seventh grade Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL) reading test in 1998 were tutored in Read Right in 2001 for an average of 77 hours and then given the tenth grade WASL test. These 27 students were matched with a control group of 27 students that had nearly identical seventh grade WASL test scores but no tutoring. The tutored students gained on average 23.6 points on their WASL tests as compared to 4.6 for the control group.
