This aspect of the ARRA principles seems intended to create an assessment tool for constructing an accurate framework for the improvement of the educational field at large, the effect being that each determinant of that field (classroom, school, district, state, etc.) will be responsible for keeping and providing the most detailed and accurate information on its progress possible.
Read Right pre- and post-tests with a standardized, norm-referenced reading test to assess both reading capability and critical thinking (drawing inferences, synthesizing information, evaluating, analyzing, and drawing conclusions). Monthly tracking and reporting of each student’s accumulated tutoring hours and capacity to handle increasingly complex text is automatically maintained with Read Right’s MP3 system.
There are additional advantages for our clients using our MP3 System. The system records Student Tutoring time, Independent Reading time, and Critical Thinking time for each student tutored during the day, and will integrate the activity data with an online monthly reporting application. The system will directly upload the activity data that is stored within the system to the online monthly reporting application. Data can also be backed up to flash drive and uploads using our web form. The system makes gathering and reporting information an embedded part of the instruction rather than a separate and time-consuming project.
